  • Each shoot and client is unique, so to get the most precise quote, please contact us with some details about your project. If you have a specific budget, let us know, and we may be able to accommodate you. Please note that we only provide quotes via email, as it's difficult to give the necessary detail over the phone. Reach out to us through the contact form, and we'll typically respond within the same day.

  • We guarantee a 3-day turnaround for our still images. If you do require a more urgent delivery of images, please let us know and we may be able to assist for an additional fee.

  • All quotes include a basic round of editing to adjust color, tone, and exposure, consistent with our portfolio style. Additional editing is charged at £75 per hour.

    For specialised retouching, we may outsource the work and charge at cost plus an administrative fee.

  • The number of images you receive depends on the type of project. For events, we typically deliver around 70-120 images per day. For portrait shoots, you'll usually get about 10 images per person to choose from. We can discuss your specific requirements in advance so you know what to expect.

  • We're based in Manchester but often travel right across the UK for shoots.

  • Yes, we have public liability insurance.

  • During the photoshoot, the camera records onto two separate memory cards. Immediately after the shoot, all the images are securely backed up onto two physical hard drives and onto the Capture North cloud server.

  • We predominately shoot commercial projects in the lifestyle sector, as well as covering events, interiors, and general imagery for PR and Marketing. However, we have experience in many areas of photography so please let us know!

  • You're not just booking the photographers time, you're booking a reliable trust-worthy creative who can expertly capture your project in the best way possible. With years of knowledge on lighting, composition and making people feel as comfortable as possible in front of camera, we always aim to exceed expectations.

  • Capture North holds the copyright for each photo taken. An exchange of copyright can be negotiated but must always be discussed before the booking is processed.

    Digital usage fees are included as part of the shoot which means you're free to use the images online wherever and whenever.

    *Additional fees may apply for Out-Of-Home ads or national print campaigns. This will be agreed prior to the shoot date.

  • We regularly update our arsenal of equipment and software to stay ahead of the game. Whether that's new AI editing technology or simple bits of kit that help make the shoot run as smoothly as possible.

  • Our clients receive the final edited high resolution JPEGs. We don't tend to send out the RAW files (mainly because of the large file size and we don't like to share unfinished plain images)

    However If commercial clients legitimately require access to the original raw files so they can edit in-house to match a campaign style we can arrange that for an extra fee.

  • We charge an industry standard 0.45p per mile to get to and from the shoot location. This cost will be calculated prior to the shoot start date and included in your quote.

    We also charge a fee to cover fares, parking, Congestion Charge, etc.

  • We specialise in photography and don't provide a videography service ourselves. We can however introduce you to some excellent videographers that we've worked alongside.
